For more than 50 years, Windward Pediatrics has provided health care to the Windward community. Windward Pediatrics draws patients from all over O’ahu. Kane'ohe's First and Most Experienced

Windward Pediatrics, Inc. is the first and oldest pediatric practice on the Windward side of O’ahu. The practice known today as Windward Pediatrics, began its roots in August of 1961.

The philosophy of care at Windward Pediatrics embodies its deep family roots. Windward Pediatrics not only provides the best pediatric care on O’ahu but also remains true to it’s long history of providing compassionate care that is mindful of the well being of the entire ‘Ohana.

Our Pediatric Staff

Dr. Gregory K. Yim

Dr. Greg Yim is a local boy with world renowned reach and experience in pediatrics and pediatric neurology. Dr. Yim was born and raised in Kane’ohe. He graduated from Punahou School and went on to attend Dartmouth College. He earned his medical doctorate from Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. After completing his pediatric residency at Kapiolani Medical Center, he went on to do his specialty fellowship in Pediatric Neurology at Columbia University Neurological Institute in New York City. He served on the Neurology Board of Examiners for 10 years to determine the standard of care guidelines in pediatric neurology.

Dr. Greg Yim is certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology with Special Qualification in Child Neurology. Dr. Yim is currently an Associate Clinical Professor in Pediatrics at the University of Hawaii John A. Burns School of Medicine. He was selected as a Regional Top Doctor in 2013, 2014, 2105, 2016, 2017, 2018 and 2019. Dr. Yim was features in Honolulu Magazine’s 2018 Cover as Honolulu’s Top Doctor.

A Leader in the Community

Dr. Yim actively serves on community boards that focus on children and healthcare. He is currently a Punahou School Board of Trustee and Chairman of the Board for the Variety School. He has also served as a member of the Kapiolani Medical Center Foundation Board. In addition to his busy practices, Dr. Yim is also the Medical Director of Insight Imagining EEG lab services. As an Associate Clinical Professor in Pediatrics at the University of Hawaii John A. Burns School of Medicine, Dr. Yim dedicates much of his volunteer effort to the education of our medical students. By helping to educate the new generation of local doctors, Dr. Yim hopes that our families will continue to have dependable and compassionate care in Hawaii.
